How To Play Stronghold 2 Online

Hi. I am locking for some patch to stronghold 2. I often play online with my brother using gameranger but we cant play with bots. I found this topic

Hi, welcome to Stronghold Heaven!
This isn't actually a patch, it's more like a tool. You need to start the game, and before somebody joins it, you need to do some stuff with it, and then you can add AI lords, and your friends can also join, so you can play together.
The issue with it is that it's being detected as a Trojan. I believe it is safe to use, and I have used it before. I believe it is a false positive, though I can't tell for sure.

I hope it would work for you. And a problem that I've been having with it is AI lords not laying proper sieges on my castle. They just send smaller groups of their men, and they don't build siege camps to attack me.
But keep in mind. I know almost nothing about this tool, so I cannot tell to anybody for sure whether it is really a virus, or not.

I did everything like this man on the video and online AI still is 'blocked'. This method doesn't work..

What is your game version? I think we can safely say that it wouldn't work with Steam version, which is designated by 1.5 Steam. But it should work with 1.4.1. I'd say you didn't do everything as on this video. There are some people for whom this doesn't work, but in those cases symptoms have been different. But still again, maybe something is simply different on your machine.

I have normal 1.4.1 version, not on steam. And i tried to play online with my brother on gameranger and this tool didnt work. The 'ai icon' is stil disable, after i clicking 'enable, enable..' like on the video.

I hope you did notice that one actually needs to leave the room, i.e. leave the multiplayer lobby in Stronghold 2 game, go to Kingmaker, click this enable-enable-enable, add AI lords to that kingmaker game, then click that enable thing again.. And just then to go back, and return to multiplayer lobby after what your brother should join. I don't know all the steps, and the right order, but for some reason it's like some ritual..
